Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
